PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
1. Coach:  competitive teams will have paid coach selected by BSC’s Competition Director based on experience, enthusiasm, commitment, and desire to develop both the team and individual players
2. Practices:  At least two (2) practice/training sessions each week at the BSC complex prior to and during each outdoor season (weather permitting)
3. Games: Participation in the Fall & Spring seasons in the Nebraska Youth Soccer League
a. BSC Competition Director and Academy coach will work together to place the team in the appropriate division based on their ability
b. Game day is typically Sat/Sun but may vary depending on rescheduling
c. Home games (usually 3-4 per season) are played at BSC; away games may require travel all around Omaha & Lincoln 
4. Winter Training:
a. 1 practice/training session per week in November and December
b. Teams will participate in a winter indoor league at Iowa West Sports Complex in January and February (approximately 6-7 games)
c. Additional team or individual training may occur based on space and coach availability
5. Tournament: Teams will participate in one (1) local tournament as determined by the team 
a. Any extra tournaments are at the teams’ discretion and would require additional fees
b. Any out-of-area tournament participation may require associated travel costs (hotel, meals, etc) that are not covered by current  fees.  BSC does not recommend Academy teams travel outside the local area for tournaments.

Notional Training Schedule 

Aug - Oct: Team will train a minimum of twice per week during the fall season
Nov - Dec:  Team will train once a week at a local indoor facility (i.e. Iowa West Sports Complex)
Jan - Feb:  Team will participate in a indoor winter league (i.e. Iowa West Sports Complex)
Mar-May: Team will train a minimum of twice per week during the spring season
June: Players will prep for next season's assessment or tryouts
July:  Vacation, with possible training once a week or a local camp/clinic (extra cost)

Fees

Our Academy program is the most affordable program in the area offering unmatched value to its members.  Total yearly cost is currently $700 and covers ALL activities for the complete soccer year mentioned above in the Program Highlights. Uniform cost is extra.  Teams may choose to play in additional tournaments at an extra cost.

Fees can be paid in full at the beginning of the season (August) or on a monthly payment plan.
